Fractional basics
What is fractional leadership? A part-time senior leader who works inside your business without a full-time hire. The focus is your people and your process, so you don’t have to do it all yourself.
How is it different from consulting? A consultant often advises and hands it back to you. A fractional leader works with your team to make the changes and see them through inside a weekly and quarterly rhythm.
Which role should I start with? Start with the gap causing the most headaches. If operations are shaky, that usually means a fractional COO. The Ops Stability Call is where we figure that out.
Do I need new software? No. The work starts with the people, process and tools you already have.
Getting started
What is the Ops Stability Call? A short call with our team about the problem costing you the most time. It’s complimentary based on fit. If it’s a fit, the next step is to get clear on the gaps in your people and your process.
What is the Business Clarity Check? A lighter self-check you can take before the call. It has 8 questions, takes a few minutes, and shows a plain-language summary on your screen. It covers who owns what and where decisions land, how steady your team’s rhythm is, and how much of the work is written down.
How long does it take? The work runs in 90-day missions inside a weekly and quarterly rhythm.
Remote or on-site? Remote. Golden Business Path is based in NC’s Triad and serves clients nationwide.
Do you show prices? No. Scope depends on what your business needs, so it’s set after we talk.
How does payment work? Each month, or each project, is paid in full upfront, before that work starts. If you cancel before work starts, you get a refund of everything you paid, minus the payment processing fee. There are no refunds for time already worked.
Licensing
Are you a CPA? No. Golden Business Path does not hold a CPA license. Bookkeeping, tax and other licensed accounting work is done through qualified or licensed professionals where the law requires.
